The English Garden Nursery School and Pre-school provides high quality, British-style education to children from local and expatriate communities living in and around Budapest. We were established in 2008 as the first international kindergarten located on the Pest side of the city. We are situated in the “Garden City,” otherwise known as Tisztviselõ Telep, which is found in the 8th District.
The English Garden is a fully licensed International English Language kindergarten and nursery, established in accordance with the Hungarian Ministry of Education and the Ministry for Children’s Welfare. Additionally, we are a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance, which is one of the largest organisations for providers of early years education in the United Kingdom. We have been recognised as a Cambridge International School.
The English Garden is spread throughout three large adjacent houses with beautiful gardens connecting them at the rear. Our facilities are designed to provide the children with a safe and secure, child-friendly environment. The English Garden is surrounded by trees and is neighbours with one of Budapest’s largest parks. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by car, public transport and using the English Garden Minibus Service.
